Sandy Osborne Preschool Director

 

Dear Parent and Student,

I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Sandy Osborne and I have been the director of CFBC Preschool since 2004. My husband Tom and all three of our children are members at First Baptist Church of Clyde. Both our daughters attended preschool here and we all loved the program. I began teaching various classes in 2001 and discovered that children and all the love they bring with them is where my heart is. I love each and every child here as if they were my very own. So, with that said, I want to extend to you and your child our warmest welcome to our preschool family.

We provide a very academically structured program at CFBC Preschool, but first and foremost, we teach about Christ and the Bible in a very loving, caring, and nurturing environment. Along with all of our academics, we also will provide your child with physical education, music, and plenty of fun!

Please know that my door is always open to you and your family. I would love to speak with you about any new ideas or comments you may have for us, as well as any concerns.

On behalf of all the staff and myself, we are looking forward to getting to know you and your child and having a wonderful, exciting year at preschool.

Janet Williams Lead Teacher

 

Hi! My name is Janet Williams, and I’m the lead teacher at CFBC Preschool. I’ve been teaching here since 1997, and it’s truly an honor to work with God’s greatest blessings—children. I love being part of helping shape young lives and watching them grow. My husband, Keith, and I have two sons and three wonderful grandchildren. Our younger son attended CFBC Preschool, and it was during that time that I felt called to join this amazing program. My family attends Pinnacle Church, where we love and serve the Lord. We enjoy spending time with friends and family and love to travel—especially to the beach!

Alex McClure

 

Hi! I’m Alex McClure, and I’m so excited to be part of the CFBCP team. My husband, Seth, and I have two wonderful boys who both attend the preschool. I’ve been teaching since 2018, and helping children grow and learn has been a true passion of mine. Our family is actively involved at Calvary Road Baptist Church, where we serve and grow together in faith. I believe there is no greater privilege than sharing the love of Jesus, and I’m honored to have the opportunity to shine His light in the classroom and beyond.

Amber Moss

 

Hello! I’m Amber Moss. I grew up in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina and have been working with children for a little over eight years. In addition to teaching, I’m a proud mom of three wonderful kids. Outside the classroom, I love hiking, gardening, getting lost in a good book, and—most importantly—spending time with my family. I strive to bring creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning into my classroom every day, and I’m so excited for all the growth and possibilities this year will bring!

Caroline Martinez

 

Hi! My name is Caroline Martinez. My husband and I have three beautiful daughters, all of whom attended CFBC Preschool. My husband is a preacher, and our home church is Center Pigeon Baptist Church. I’ve been teaching in childcare for 12 years and studied Early Childhood Education in college. The Lord has given me a heart for children, and I truly love fulfilling His purpose for my life through teaching.

Karen Clark

 

Hi! I’m Karen Clark. I’m married and the proud mom of three wonderful daughters — my youngest even attended CFBCP! Now I’m blessed with five amazing grandchildren, and two of them are part of the CFBCP family, too. I love animals, enjoy the beauty of Fall, and can never resist a good slice of pizza!

Kaitlyn Buckner

 

Hi! My name is Kaitlyn, and I joined CFBCP in 2024. My husband and I have two sweet children, both of whom attend or have attended the preschool. Our family worships at Orchard Church, and we love spending time at the lake and watching our kids play t-ball and dance. I’m so excited to watch your little ones grow and learn this year!

Kaitlynn (Kate) Frazier

 

Hi! My name is Kaitlynn Frazier (Ms. Kate). I’m a proud mom to one son who also attends CFBCP. I earned my bachelor’s degree from ETSU in 2018. Some of my favorite things include my son, Mexican food, coffee, and spending time outdoors. I love working with children and helping them discover new things. I’m so excited to work with your child this year!

Kimberly Williams

 

Hello! My name is Kimberly Williams. I live in Fines Creek with my fiancé, Andrew, and our two children. You may see me working on weekends at Haywood 209 Café. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, cooking, and camping. I previously worked as a teacher assistant at Clyde Elementary. I love seeing students grow and achieve their goals and I’m excited to be a part of your child’s educational journey!

Kristen Justice

 

Hi! I’m Kristen Justice and I’m so excited to be a part of Clyde First Baptist Preschool. I have twelve years of prior teaching experience. My husband, Colby, and I are blessed with three wonderful children- all of whom attend preschool here. I’m passionate about creating a classroom environment where children know they are loved first, and then are taught the love of learning. My goal is to nurture their curiosity, encourage their growth, and help them discover the joy and confidence that comes from learning through play and exploration. Our family attends The Orchard Church, and our faith plays a big part in everything we do. We love spending time together at our family lake house, camping, and making memories with family and friends. I’m truly looking forward to a wonderful year here at Clyde First Baptist Preschool.

Hi! I’m Lesley. My husband and I have one daughter, who recently graduated high school. I’ve been working in childcare since 1998, and I truly love helping children learn and watching them grow. Our family attends Pinnacle Church, where we love and serve the Lord.

Michelle Davis

 

Hi! My name is Michelle Davis. My husband, Brian, and I have two grown children, both of whom attended CFBCP. I taught in Haywood County Schools for 30 years before retiring in 2024. I love Jesus, my family, traveling, and cheering for the Tar Heels!

Rebecca Frazier

 

My name is Rebecca Frazier, and I have been at Clyde First Baptist since 2016. Although I did take a short break, I am excited about being back in the classroom. I have two daughters who both attended CFBP. They are very active and currently both march with Pisgah Marching band. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year!

Rene Knight

 

Hello, my name is Rene! My husband and I have two daughters that are currently enrolled in CFBP. I love to teach children and believe that artist expression through crafts is both fun and developmentally beneficial! I look forward to getting to know you and your child.

Samantha Messer

 

Hello, my name is Mrs. Sam! I started working at CFBCP as a substitute teacher and thoroughly enjoyed each time I got to work with all the kiddos. I made a choice to be a part of the preschool family and have loved every minute of it. I have two children of my own and we enjoy being outdoors and spending family time with each other. We have a church family at the Orchard Church. I cannot wait to work with you and your child.

Shana Lokerson

 

Hi! I’m Shana Lokerson. My husband, Arlie, and I have two grown children and three sweet grandchildren—two granddaughters and one grandson—who we love spending time with. As a family, we enjoy camping and being outdoors. We are very involved at Burnette Siding Baptist Church. I love watching children grow and learn, and I can’t wait to get to know your little one!

Seana Surrett

 

Hi! My name is Seana Surrett. My husband, Nathaniel, and I are blessed with two sons and one daughter, all of whom attended CFBCP. I joined the CFBCP team in 2022 and have absolutely loved being part of this wonderful community. Our family attends Old River Baptist Church, and we love God, football, and spending time with our kids! I’m so excited to get to know your child this year!

Traci Ruff

 

Hi! I’m Traci Ruff. My husband, Mitchell, and I have two grown children and two grandchildren, one of whom currently attends CFBC Preschool. Our favorite family activity is camping, and we are active members of Burnette Siding Baptist Church. I’m excited to be returning to CFBCP and look forward to helping your children learn and grow this year!
